Spain’s chosen its representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, which takes place in Malmö, Sweden. It’s Nebulossa, who’ll represent their country, which is taking part in the ESC for the 63rd time.
The composition
The title of the song’s “Zorra” and it was created by María Bas and Mark Dasousa (so Nebulossa themselves). It’s sung in Spanish.

The procedure
The Spanish ESC representative was chosen by the jury (50%), demoscopic jury (25%) and the public (25%). Nebulossa took 1st place in the jury voting (shared with St. Pedro), in the demoscopic jury Nebulossa came third whereas in the public voting they finished first winnin the Benidrom Fest 2024 and becoming the 63rd Spanish representative at the Eurovision Song Contest.
What do we know about Nebulossa?
Nabulossa is a Spanish music duo creating electropop music, founded in 2018. The band comprises María Bas (vocals and production) and Mark Dasousa (synthesizers, production). They create music based on the 80s melodies and sounds. Two characteristic features of their music are: a lot of synth and popular music.
Eurovision Song Contest 2024
The Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Malmö, Sweden on Tuesday, 7th May (the First Semi-final), Thursday, 9th May (the Second Semi-final) and Saturday, 11th May (the Grand Final) 2024.
