Melodifestivalen 2023: All Artists and Song Titles Revealed

The final line-up of Melodiefestivalen after some time of speculations has been finally revealed and confirmed. The winner is to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 which takes place in Liverpool, UK after last year’s Ukraine’s win.

The complete list of all the 28 artists competing in Melodifestivalen 2023 has been announced by the Swedish broadcaster SVT. And among many returning artists there is to appear Loreen who’s seen by many the artist who delivered the best performance ever. Her “Euphoria” has been chosen as the best Eurovision song ever in different polls held not only among Eurovision Fans, one of which is the Facebook poll held among Eurovision Enthusiasts in which you could pick one winning Eurovision entry in which Loreen received 42% of votes (while the second place’s result was 19%)

  1. Elov & Beny – “Raggen går”;
  2. Eva Rydberg & Ewa Roos – “Länge leve livet”;
  3. Jon Henrik Fjällgren, Arc North feat. Adam Woods – “Where You Are (Sávežan)”;
  4. Loulou LaMotte – “Inga sorger”;
  5. Rejhan – “Haunted”;
  6. Tone Sekelius – “Rhythm of My Show”;
  7. Victor Crone – “Diamonds”.

Melodifestivalen 2023 – Heat 2

  1. Eden – “Comfortable”;
  2. Maria Sur – “Never Give Up”;

Melodifestivalen 2023 – Heat 4

  5. Mariette – “One Day”;
  6. Signe & Hjördis – “Edelweiss”;
  7. Smash Into Pieces – “Six Feet Under”.

Melodifestivalen 2023 Tour Dates:

Heat 1 – 4th February – Göteborg;

Heat 2 – 11th February – Linköping;

Heat 3 – 18th February – Lidköping;

Heat 4 – 25th February – Malmö;

Semi-final – 4th March – Örnsköldsvik;

Final – 11th March – Stockholm.

As for the format of Melodifestivalen 2023 in each heat seven artists will present their songs; two of them will qualify directly for the final and the other two will qualify for the semi-final. Eight songs will compete in the semi-final for four remaining spots in the Melodifestivalen final where twelve songs will fight for representing Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool, UK.

We’ll see what the future holds for Melodiefestivalen and the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. Is the Swedish National Selection winner going to deliver once again a high quality show? Is it going to be in Top 3 or maybe win the whole Contest for the 7th time in the Swedish history in the Contest after eight years?
