Italy’s selected its entry for the 21st Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is held in Nice, France this year. It’s Melissa & Ranya, who’ll perform “Un mondo giusto” (A Fair World).

Procedure

Melissa and Ranya, who took part in The Voice Kids, were chosen to represent Italy at the JESC 2023 by the Italian Broadcaster RAI.

This song was was written by Marco Iardella and Franco Fasano. “Un mondo giusto” was published by Edizioni Fucsia, Insani Logoritmi, and Universal Music Italy.

What do we know about Melissa and Ranya?

Melissa Agliottone is 13 years old. At the age of 8 she started learning to play the piano and then to sing. Melissa also plays the drums. And she’s lately begun to write the lyrics for her songs. She’s the winner of The Voice Kids 2023.

Ranya Moufidi is 13 years old as well. It’s worth mentioning that Ranya speaks five languages (Arabic, English, French, Italian and Spanish). She’s been singing and acting for many years now.
