This year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest takes place in Yerevan after last year’s Armenia’s victory (Maléna – “Qami Qami”).
There are sixteen countries participating this year with the United Kingdom which is returning after a sixteen-year absence.
Countries which don’t return to the contest: Australia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Romania, San Marino, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Wales, and Russia.
