This year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest takes place in Nice after last year’s France’s victory (Lissandro – “Oh maman!”).

There are sixteen countries participating this year, with Estonia which is participating for the first time in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

Countries which don’t return to the contest: Australia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Greece, Israel, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Romania, San Marino, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Wales, and Russia.
