Australia’s chosen its representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, which takes place in Malmö, Sweden. It’s Electric Fields, who’ll represent their country, which is taking part in the ESC for the 9th time.
The composition
The title of the song’s “One Milkali (One Blood)” and it was created by Michael Ross, Zaachariaha Fielding, so Electric Fields themselves. It’s sung in English and Yankunytjatjara.

What do we know about Electric Fields?
The musical duo known as Electric Fields consists of vocalist Zachariaha Fielding and keyboardist and producer Michael Ross. Electric Fields combine contemporary electro-soul with Aboriginal traditions. The Australian band’s career began in 2015.
Electric Fields is already well known to fans of the competition, thanks to the Australian pre-selection format – Australia Decides. In its first instalment, Electric Fields finished second losing to the winner Kate Miller-Heidke by 21 points.
In 2020, they also managed to record a song with the Norwegian group KEiiNO, which took sixth place at Eurovision in 2019.
Eurovision Song Contest 2024
The Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Malmö, Sweden on Tuesday, 7th May (the First Semi-final), Thursday, 9th May (the Second Semi-final) and Saturday, 11th May (the Grand Final) 2024.
