Azerbaijan’s chosen its representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, which takes place in Malmö, Sweden. It’s Fahree feat. Ilkin Dovlatov, who’ll represent their country, which is taking part in the ESC for the 17th time.
The composition
The title of the song’s “Özünlə apar” and it was created by Edgar Ravinov, Hasan Haydar, Madina Salikh, Tamila Rzayeva and Fakhri Ismayilov himself. It’s sung in English and Azerbaijani.

What do we know about Fahree?
Fahree, whose real name’s Fakhri Ismayilov, was born in 1995 in Baku. He’s a singer and songwriter. Fakhri comes from an artistic family. His father is a jazz musician and his grandfather is an actor. Fahree himself has a master’s degree in law, and he started developing his career during the pandemic and has released singles in Azerbaijani.

The Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Malmö, Sweden on Tuesday, 7th May (the First Semi-final), Thursday, 9th May (the Second Semi-final) and Saturday, 11th May (the Grand Final) 2024.
