Baby Lasagna – the Twenty-Ninth Participant for Eurovision 2024

Croatia’s chosen its representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, which takes place in Malmö, Sweden. It’s Baby Lasagna, who’ll represent his country, which is taking part in the ESC for the 29th time.

The composition

The title of the song’s “Rim Tim Tagi Dim” and it was created by Marko Purišić, who is Baby Lasagna himself. It’s sung in English.

The procedure

This Croatian entry was chosen in the National Selection called Dora. Baby Lasagna won both: the jury and public voting.

What’s intriguing Baby Lasagna first ended up on a reserve list as the rumour has it that the Croatian broadcaster didn’t want to send this Artist to Sweden. He got accepted only when one of the other Artists had withdrawn.

What do we know about Baby Lasagna?

Baby Lasagna, whose real name’s Marko Purišić, was born in 1995. He’s a singer, songwriter and music producer. Purišić’s musical influences are Rammstein, Electric Callboy and Tonči & Madre Badessa. His music has been described as a mixture of pop punk, techno, metal and house.

Eurovision Song Contest 2024

The Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Malmö, Sweden on Tuesday, 7th May (the First Semi-final), Thursday, 9th May (the Second Semi-final) and Saturday, 11th May (the Grand Final) 2024.
