Ukraine’s chosen its representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, which takes place in Malmö, Sweden. It’s Alyona Alyona & Jerry Heil, who’ll represent their country, which is taking part in the ESC for the 19th time.
The composition
The title of the song’s “Teresa & Maria” and it was created by Anton Chilibi, Ivan Klymenko, Yana Shemaieva and Aliona Savranenko themselves. It’s sung in Ukrainian.

The procedure
The Ukrainian ESC representative was chosen by the jury and the public. The duet took 2nd place in the jury voting and in the public voting they finished first becoming the 19th Ukrainian representative at the Eurovision Song Contest.
What do we know about Alyona Alyona & Jerry Heil?
Aliona Olehivna Savranenko (Ukrainian: Альо́на Олегівна Савране́нко) was born 14th June 1991, known by her stage name Alyona Alyona, is a Ukrainian rapper and songwriter.
Yana Oleksandrivna Shemaieva (Ukrainian: Я́на Олекса́ндрівна Шема́єва) was born 21st October 1995, known by her stage name Jerry Heil, is a Ukrainian singer, songwriter and YouTuber. She began her career after launching her YouTube channel in 2012, publishing vlogs and musical covers.
Eurovision Song Contest 2024
The Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Malmö, Sweden on Tuesday, 7th May (the First Semi-final), Thursday, 9th May (the Second Semi-final) and Saturday, 11th May (the Grand Final) 2024.
