Sweden’s chosen its representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, which takes place in Malmö, Sweden. It’s Marcus & Martinus, who’ll represent Sweden, which is taking part in the ESC for the 63rd time.
The composition
The title of the song’s “Unforgettable” and it was created by Jimmy Thörnfeldt, Joy Deb, Linnea Deb, Marcus Gunnarsen and Martinus Gunnarsen themselves. It’s sung in English.

The procedure
The Swedish entry was chosen both by the public and the jury at the Melodifestivalen.
What do we know about Marcus & Martinus?
Marcus & Martinus, sometimes known as M&M, are identical twin brothers from Norway who form a dance-pop duet. Their full names are Marcus and Martinus Gunnarsen and they were born in 2002. They have released three albums to date. Since winning Melodi Grand Prix Junior in 2012, they have won numerous prizes. They participated in Melodifestivalen in 2023 (finishing second, losing only to Loreen) and in 2024, when they won.

The Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Malmö, Sweden on Tuesday, 7th May (the First Semi-final), Thursday, 9th May (the Second Semi-final) and Saturday, 11th May (the Grand Final) 2024.
