This time I’m going to show you my honest reaction to the song that represented Switzerland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. This is “Voyage” (in English: “Journey”) by Zoë Më whose full name is Zoë Anina Kressler.

Well, frist things first. It’s poetry-pop style.
This year’s Swiss entry was chosen internally.
This year’s Swiss song was composed by a party of three (including Zoë herself) and it’s sung in French.
What’s the song about?
“Tu comprendras un jour
Que les fleurs sont plus belles

Tu m’as coupé tellement de…

Avec toi pour faire un voyage

Faire un voyage avec toi”

Is this going to be a massive hit? Hmm, why not?
All in all, I’d say this is a good song with great vocals.
As each juror ranked all the competing songs in each show based on the given criteria, I assigned points in the same categories (eurovision.tv):
– composition and originality of the song, 9 out of 10;
– quality of the performance on stage, 10 out of 10;
– vocal capacity of the performer(s), 10 out of 10;
– overall impression of the act, 9 out of 10.
So the total is: 38 out of 40 points that is 95%.
My question: “Will Zoë’s journey lead her to victory?” To get the best result for Switzerland she would have to win the whole Contest (as the best result for Switzerland so far was the 1st place; it happened thrice: it was in 1956, 1988 & 2024).
In the end, I can only say: Well done, Zoë! Congratulations, Switzerland! This year Switzerland didn’t have to qualify for the Grand Final as the host country.
What did the bookmakers say about the Swiss entry? Well, at that moment (3rd May 2025) it was in the 16th place (on eurovisionworld.com).
