This time I’m going to show you my honest reaction to the song that represented Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. This is “How Much Time Do We Have Left” by Klemen whose full name is Klemen Slakonja.

Well, frist things first.
This year’s Slovenian entry was both by the public and the jury (including the international one).
What’s the song about?
The song deals with the period in which his wife, actress Mojca Fatur, was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome, a rare form of cancer from which she later managed to recover. Through his words, Klemen celebrates the strength of his beloved in facing the disease, highlighting the importance of shared time and the fragility of human life.
“How much time do we have left together
We never know
All I know is I don’t want to be here
Without your love”
Is this going to be a massive hit? Hmm, why not?
All in all, I’d say this is a good song with great vocals.
As each juror ranks all of the competing songs in each show based on the given criteria, I will assign points in the same categories (eurovision.tv):
– composition and originality of the song, 7 out of 10;
– quality of the performance on stage 9 out of 10;
– vocal capacity of the performer(s), 10 out of 10;
– overall impression of the act, 8 out of 10.
So the total is: 34 out of 40 points that is 85%.
The question was: “Will Klemen’s time left lead him to victory? We’ll see if he will get the best result for Slovenia. To do that he would have to finish at least 6th (as the best result for Slovenia so far has been the 7th place; it happened twice: it was in 1995 and 2001).“
In the end, I can only say: Well done, Klemen! Congratulations, Slovenia! I assume this song will qualify for the Grand Final but of course it depends on the other entries as well. Do you agree, Guys?
What do the bookmakers say Slovenian entry? Well, at this moment (12th April 2025) it’s in the 27th place (on eurovisionworld.com).
