Italy’s chosen its representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, which takes place in Malmö, Sweden. It’s Angelina Mango, who’ll represent their country, which is taking part in the ESC for the 49th time.
The composition
The title of the song’s “La noia” (Boredom) and it was created by Dario Faini, Francesca Calearo and Angelina Mango herself. It’s sung in Italian.

The procedure
The Italian ESC representative was chosen by the journalists (33%), radio jury (33%) and public (34%) as part of the Sanremo Music Festival becoming the 49th Italian representative at the Eurovision Song Contest and the first woman since 2014.
What do we know about Angelina Mango?
Angelina Mango was born in 2001. She’s a singer and songwriter. Angelina’s music is a mix of Italian and American rap, R&B and instrumental music. In her songs, Angelina deals with issues and themes that are relevant to her, such as GenZ, love, freedom and family.

The Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Malmö, Sweden on Tuesday, 7th May (the First Semi-final), Thursday, 9th May (the Second Semi-final) and Saturday, 11th May (the Grand Final) 2024.
