The Eurovision Song Contest 2023 Semi-final Allocation Draw took place in Liverpool 31st January 2023. Which semi-final is your country competing in? Read to find out.
The list of countries competing in both semi-finals was determined randomly by drawing countries from six pots (decided on the basis of historical voting patterns). Also, it was decided randomly in which half of the show a particular country is to perform.
In the case of the so called ‘Big Five’ countries (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom) and last year’s winner – Ukraine, which do not compete in the semi-finals, it was also decided in the random way in which semi-final they will be able to vote.
The exact running order will be decided by producers at a later time.
What do you think of the draw? Does it favour any countries? Are you satisfied with the result for your country? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
