Sweden wins the ESC 2026. True or false? Stay with me to the very end of this text to find out if this is possible at all. And if you read the text till the end, youโ€™ll be able to hear my song โ€œIโ€™m Choosing a New Eraโ€ that I submitted to the Polish Preselection for the ESC 2026.

Hello, Guys!

This is your EurovisionaryVoice calling! My nameโ€™s Janusz Jacek Siwiorek JJS. I present my reactions here.

This time Iโ€™m going to show you my most sincere reaction to the song that will represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. This is โ€œMy Systemโ€ by Felicia whose full nameโ€™s Felicia Agneta Eriksson.

Letโ€™s watch the video:

Felicia โ€“ โ€œMy Systemโ€ (LIVE) โ€“ Sweden ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ช | Eurovision 2026 | Reaction

Well, first things first.

The Swedish entry was chosen both by the jury and public. Felicia won both in the jury and public voting.

This yearโ€™s Swedish song was created by Audun Agnar, Emily Harbakk, Felicia Eriksson herself, Julie Bergan,Theresa Rex. Itโ€™s sung in English.

What genre is that? Electro-pop / dance-pop (with strong Electronic Dance Music influence)

Whatโ€™s the song about?

โ€œI don’t even want you

No you don’t take up space

On any given Monday

I’m forgetting how you taste

I killed the whole idea of you

Been dancing on your grave

Cause I don’t even want you

Then Friday screams your name

Cause now you’re in my head

My heart

My body parts

You’re always coming back on the weekends

You’re in every touch

And thought

And every shot

No I can’t get you out of my systemโ€

The song is about is about taking control of your own life and emotions.

It focuses on the idea of having your own โ€œsystemโ€ โ€” your own rules, your own mindset โ€” and not letting other people or situations break you. Thereโ€™s also a strong theme of inner strength and independence, especially after going through something difficult.

Overall, the song is about being strong and in control of your own life. It shows confidence and not letting anyone affect your system.

Felicia is a Swedish singer, first known as the original singer for the music project Frรถken Snusk.

A fun fact: Eriksson has suffered from social anxiety since childhood, and has the face mask partially because of that ongoing condition.

And in various interviews before and after winning Melodifestivalen, she criticised Israel’s participation in Eurovision.

Vocal analysis:

Feliciaโ€™s vocals are controlled and modern. She uses a clean, slightly cool tone in the verses, which fits the electronic style. In the build-up, her voice becomes more intense and emotional. In the chorus, she adds power and energy, but still keeps a tight, precise delivery. Her vocals work very well with the EDM production, focusing more on mood and rhythm than big vocal runs.

Is this going to be a banger? Hmm, first letโ€™s ask a question: Is this song going to make it to the Grand Final?

All in all, Iโ€™d say this is a very good song with great vocals.

As each juror is going to rank all the competing songs in each show based on the given criteria, I will assign points in the same categories (eurovision.com):

– composition and originality of the song, 9 out of 10;

– quality of the performance on stage, 10 out of 10;

– vocal capacity of the performer(s), 10 out of 10;

– overall impression of the act, 9 out of 10.

So the total is: 38 out of 40 points that is 95%.

Will Feliciaโ€™s โ€œSystemโ€ lead her to victory? Weโ€™ll see if she will get the best result for Sweden. To do that she would have to win the whole Contest (as the best result for Sweden so far was the 1st place; it happened 7 times: it was in 1974, 1984, 1991, 1999, 2012, 2015 and 2023).

In the end, I can only say: Well done, Felicia! Congratulations, Sweden! I assume this song might qualify for the Grand Final but of course it depends on the other entries as well. What do you think, Guys?

What do the bookmakers say about the Swedish entry? Well, at this moment (29th March 2026) Sweden is in 6th/35 place.

Letโ€™s hear it for Felicia and the whole team!
